Description:

This portable 12V DC/115V AC generator. This configuration powers medium draw devices such as laptops, lamps, fans battery chargers, etc. 3-8 hours duration (load dependent) without light and indefinitely when collecting sunlight. Battery recharge rate is improved via the 10W panel over the 101-1A model.

The solar power generator easily powers a household type battery charger for a transistor radio, flashlight, and many other AC \ USB devices. The DC out port also allows you to plug-in any device that runs with a cigarette lighter type plug. It also support charging the case via household AC making it very easy to do routine battery maintenance.

Shipped with everything needed to run out of the box, is scalable (up to 50W), lightweight, durable and includes a 14-day refund and a 90 day limited warranty. Perigee power designs kits for use in the home, field, and on the road.

Note:
Always check with the manufacturer of any electronic device you intend to use with a modified sine wave inverter. Electronics that are sensitive” may not run correctly with a modified sine wave and may become damaged. As an option they will modify any of their kits to utilize a pure sine wave inverter at your request.

About Perigee Power Solutions

Perigee Power Solutions was launched in 2010 after observing the need for a reliable yet field ready renewable power source. This need was made clear as we noted the trainees all using cell phones to communicate with people at home. How do 50 guys get their phones recharged in the middle of the desert? At the time there was very little on the market except gadgetry and gizmos that were not designed to withstand the rigors of day-to-day field work. This included the solar chargers that were available could only support very small devices and were not capable of charging a cell phone while simultaneously charging its own battery.

After months of research and testing it was decided upon the best solution. Provide a unit that is encased in a product already respected by any organization that works in an environment that is “on call”. Make the product provide power for a large variety of devices including “household” types and have it support 12VDC, US 60Hz 110VAC, & USB. The product must be scalable so it may adapt to additional power requirements and it must be user-friendly. The term “portable” must also relate to a human being able to carry a kit easily without mechanization. Possibly most importantly - produce a product that never requires fossil fuel to run.

Perigee Power Solutions shall provide quality products at fair prices. We personally test each component we use in our kits and maintain a process based upon fundamentals that verify we build our products right and that we built the right product.

Limited Warranty
Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase for a refund. Perigee Power Solutions warrants kits for 90 days against defects in workmanship for our entire product line (fully assembled kits) and all devices manufactured expressly by Perigee Power Solutions. Individual 3rd party components not assembled by Perigee Power Solutions are covered by our limited warranty through those respective manufacturer(s). Our warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Perigee Power Solutions shall void this warranty.

Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Returns are processed by Perigee Power Solutions after receipt verification. Returns must arrive in the original shipping box in condition "new" with all original components & documents for refund consideration. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment and agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment.

If any component of the returned product is missing, or if the product is no longer sellable as condition "new" Perigee Power Solutions may, in its discretion, reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of missing component(s).

Perigee Power Solutions shall not refund original shipping or handling charges and a 10% restocking fee derived from the original purchase price is applicable to all refunds. Order cancellations, at Perigee Power Solutions discretion, may also incur a 10% restocking fee.

Shipping Damage
Any damages incurred during shipping must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Be sure to inspect all packages for damage before signing for the package. If damage is visible, reject the shipment, be sure the driver notes the damage and contact Perigee Power Solutions as soon as possible. Perigee Power Solutions will file a claim with the shipper and ship a replacement upon return of the damaged item.

Perigee Power Solutions DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF THIS ITEM, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Our warranty is valid only at Perigee Power Solutions & within the U.S.A.

Compatibility
Always check with the manufacturer of any electronic device you intend to use with a modified sine wave inverter. Electronics that are considered "sensitive" may not operate correctly with a modified sine wave and may become damaged. Perigee Power Solutions tests against multiple manufacturer makes\models & acknowledges electronics and electrical devices vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

We do not claim or guarantee compatibility with all third party devices makes\models & as such the buyer also acknowledges their acceptance of this at checkout. It is the customers responsibility to obtain verification of any electrical devices specifications not tasked by said customer to Perigee Power Solutions to research the specification(s) for them. We recommend appliances certified as Energy Star compliant for the best power-duration results with any solar battery backup system.
